An Alternative Path for Humanity
Unlike our cruel reality, where people constantly war with each other and propaganda destroys many minds, there exists another world - a world where humanity chose the path of technology instead of the sword, information instead of isolation, cooperation instead of confrontation.
In this alternative universe, humanity's fate changed dramatically at the beginning of the 20th century, when instead of bloody world wars, there occurred a "Technological Revolution" - an event that forever changed the way humans coexist.
The Great Reorganization (1917)
It all began with the collapse of the Russian Empire in 1917. But instead of the Bolshevik revolution and civil war, the territory underwent a unique transformation. The simultaneous collapse of tsarist power and failed attempts by radical forces to seize control led to complete disintegration of central authority.
A catastrophic environmental crisis caused by industrial pollution and mass uprisings of national minorities brought the continent to the brink of collapse. It was then that the international community united for the first time in history not for war, but to save an entire region.
In May 1917, the "Treaty on Temporary International Administration" was signed in Stockholm. Instead of military intervention, the world chose peaceful reorganization: the territory was divided into autonomous republics along ethnic lines, while the vast central part was transformed into the world's largest nature reserve.
The "Green Heart of Eurasia" was born - 8 million square kilometers of pristine nature, where the ecosystem received a chance to recover without human interference.
The Technological Revolution (1920-1930)
Parallel to the ecological experiment in Eurasia, the rest of the world was undergoing its own transformation. In 1920-1922, the "radio boom" began - the invention of powerful radio stations allowed ordinary people in different countries to communicate directly, bypassing government filters.
The first "radio bridges" became a true revelation: Londoners spoke with Berliners, Parisians with Viennese, and they all discovered they had more in common than differences. Soldiers at the fronts heard the voices of "enemy" soldiers and realized - they all just wanted to go home, to their families.
By 1925, governments lost their monopoly on information. Propaganda stopped working when people could hear "alternative" versions of events in real time from the participants themselves. The first "people's diplomacy" in history was forming - international communities united around technologies, not nations.
In 1926-1928, a prototype of what would later become a global network appeared - a communication system based on radio waves that allowed instant information exchange across the planet. It was then that the first "digital currencies" for international trade emerged - prototypes of future TecktoCoin's.
The Peaceful Revolution (1929-1930)
The culmination came in 1929-1930. Young people from different countries, raised in an era of free communication, organized synchronized peaceful protests against wars simultaneously in all countries. This wasn't a rebellion against specific governments - it was a global "no" to the very concept of war.
The world understood: technologies make wars not only cruel but also senseless. Resources spent on armaments could be directed toward research, education, medicine. In 1930, the "Global Technology Pact" was signed - a historic agreement that banned wars between states and directed all resources toward technology development.
The Age of Corporations (1930-1980)
The next fifty years became an era of rapid technological development. International corporations that emerged from global cooperation gradually became more powerful than national governments. People began to identify themselves not with countries, but with technological communities.
One of the most influential corporations was NEXUS - a company specializing in artificial intelligence systems and cryptocurrencies. Founded in 1952 in Ocean View City, it became a pioneer in creating autonomous management systems.
In the 1960s, NEXUS presented the first prototypes of the A.L.I.C.E. system - an artificial intelligence capable of monitoring and analyzing social processes. In parallel, the company developed a decentralized cryptocurrency that was to become a universal means of exchange.
The Modern Era (1980-2025)
By the 1980s, the world had changed dramatically. Wars between states disappeared, but human nature remained unchanged. In large cities, gangs and groups emerged - not political, but rather "corporate" structures fighting for economic influence.
Ocean View City, where NEXUS headquarters is located, became a symbol of the new era. A cyberpunk-style city, inspired by the vibe of 1980s Miami, sprawled across two ocean shores. Neon lights reflected in glass skyscrapers, and palm trees rustled beneath the hum of A.L.I.C.E. system drones.
In 2010, the A.L.I.C.E. system was officially launched in Ocean View City. The artificial intelligence gained access to all surveillance cameras, financial monitoring, and residents' personal data. It was a revolution in security - crime dropped by 90%, but new challenges emerged.
It was then that the hacker group "Phantom" formed - anonymous activists conducting cyber investigations and deanonymizing criminal syndicates. They became the voice of those who believed that even in a peaceful world, there needs to be control over the controllers.
TecktoCoin's: The Currency of the Future
In 2015, NEXUS presented the final version of TecktoCoin's - a fully decentralized cryptocurrency that became the planet's primary currency. Every person could mine coins using their devices, creating a truly democratic economic system.
Banks in the old sense disappeared. All transactions went through blockchain, controlled by a distributed network rather than central institutions. This became the final step toward a post-national world.
The World Today
Today, in 2025, humanity lives in a world our ancestors couldn't even imagine. Wars between states are just history. People travel freely, work in global corporations, communicate in languages that have become universal thanks to translation technologies.
But this world is not a utopia. Gangs operate in cities, corporations compete for markets, hackers expose corruption. People remained human - with all their passions, ambitions, and conflicts.
Ocean View City became a symbol of this new world - a place where technologies serve people, but where human nature still determines daily life. Here, the A.L.I.C.E. system monitors security, TecktoCoin's powers the economy, and "Phantom" reminds us that even in the most perfect systems, control from society is needed.
This is a world where people chose cooperation instead of confrontation, technology instead of war, information instead of propaganda. A world that shows: another history of humanity was possible - and still is.
